We recommend that whoever you are, you view all sections. Everyone, including young people searching for advice, parents, teachers, and youth workers will get a new perspective on things just by watching the other sections rather than just their own.
The video takes on a simple format of offering some tips and talking about the issues involved, and also presents its viewpoint in a simple DO and DON'T roleplay scenario to put across its message.

This is part 1 of the GLYNI Resource Pack. This section is aimed towards young people who are considering coming out, and it gives some general advice and guidance on how, when, where and why to come out. It also features some role play scenarios from our members, in a DO and DON'T format.

This section discusses the feelings of parents and families. It offers some guidance on how to support your child or relative, as well as a roleplay to give some tips on how to react.
GLYNI Coming Out Resource - 3 - Teachers and Youth Workers
This section is aimed towards teachers, youth workers, and those who often work with young people. It informs on how you can help support an LGBT young person under your care, with some advice and discussion, as well as a thought-provoking roleplay between a principal and student.
GLYNI Coming Out Resource - 4 - Health and wellbeing
Health is an important topic for everyone, not just LGBT people. In this section, you can get some advice on how to keep healthy, how to avoid STDs, and how to get help if you think you need a checkup. Some roleplays between young people show how simple this can be.
GLYNI Coming Out Resource - 4b - Sean talks on safe sex
Here, one of our volunteers Sean talks about sex, including how to have safe sex, and safe sex negotiation between young people.

We have two pieces of audio that you may listen to and use. Thie first is a short interview with some of our members reading a variety of coming out stories, some their own, some from others. The second is a longer piece of audio, with more general stories, comments, and hints from our members.
